January 14, 2025: Gainesville, GA 30506 East Forsyth Broncos (Gainesville, GA) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Walnut Grove Warriors (Walnut Grove, GA), 82-47 in a league match.
With the victory, East Forsyth upgrades its record to 12-7 on the year. The Broncos host Cedar Shoals (Athens, GA) to meet the Jaguars in a AAAA Region 8 battle on Friday, January 17. The Jaguars enter the battle with a record of 12-6. Cedar Shoals lost 57-51 in their recent league battle against Eastside (Covington, GA)
The Warriors now own a 2-16 record. They put it on the line next when they host Loganville for a non-league battle on Friday, January 17. Walnut Grove will meet a Red Devils squad coming off a 63-52 league win over Jackson County (Jefferson, GA). The Red Devils record now stands at 9-6.
