January 14, 2025: Fair Haven, VT 05743 Fair Haven Slaters (Fair Haven, VT) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the visiting Mt. Abraham Eagles (Bristol, VT), 71-49 in a league match.
With the victory, Fair Haven upgrades its record to 5-3 on the year. The Slaters host Burr & Burton (Manchester, VT) to face the Bulldogs in a Southern Vermont - A match on Friday, January 17. The Bulldogs enter the match with a record of 4-4. Burr & Burton lost 48-39 in their recent league match against Rutland (Rutland, VT)
The Eagles now sport a 3-4 record. They put it on the line next when they host Otter Valley for a non-league match on Saturday, January 18. Mt. Abraham will face a Otters squad coming off a 63-52 non-league win over Middlebury (Middlebury, VT). The Otters record now stands at 9-1.
