Vermont High School Basketball - Fair Haven thwarts Middlebury
January 8, 2025: Middlebury, VT 05753 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Fair Haven Slaters (Fair Haven, VT) and the host Middlebury Tigers (Middlebury, VT), observed Fair Haven's basketball team knock off Middlebury by a score of 48-35.
The Slaters (3-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Brattleboro (Brattleboro, VT). The Bears come into the non-league challenge with a 2-5 record. In their last challenge, Brattleboro dropped by Woodstock (Woodstock, VT), 61-52, in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Tigers clash with the Hartford Hurricanes (White River Junction, VT) in a non-league test, on Saturday, January 11. Middlebury will attempt to improve on its 2-4 season record.
