Vermont High School Basketball - Middlebury knocks off Missisquoi Valley
February 8, 2025: Swanton, VT 05488 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Middlebury Tigers (Middlebury, VT) and the host Missisquoi Valley Thunderbirds (Swanton, VT), observed Middlebury's basketball team overcome Missisquoi Valley by a score of 54-39.
The Tigers (8-8) will now prepare for their challenge against Vergennes (Vergennes, VT). The Commodores come into the Lake challenge with a 11-5 record. In their last challenge, Vergennes defeated Milton (Milton, VT), 59-53, in a league challenge.
In their next game, the Thunderbirds battle the Enosburg Falls Hornets (Enosburg Falls, VT) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. Missisquoi Valley will attempt to improve on its 5-11 season record. The Hornets come into the challenge with a 2-14 record after their 53-41 league win over Mt. Abraham (Bristol, VT).
