January 14, 2025: Brandon, VT 05733 Otter Valley Otters (Brandon, VT) boosters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the visiting Middlebury Tigers (Middlebury, VT), 63-52 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Otter Valley upgrades its record to 9-1 on the year. The Otters travel to Mt. Abraham (Bristol, VT) to face the Eagles in a non-league match on Saturday, January 18. The Eagles enter the match with a record of 3-4. Mt. Abraham lost 71-49 in their recent league match against Fair Haven (Fair Haven, VT)
The Tigers now sport a 2-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Rutland for a Southern Vermont - A match on Friday, January 17. Middlebury will face a Raiders squad coming off a 48-39 league win over Burr & Burton (Manchester, VT). The Raiders record now stands at 7-2.
