Vermont High School Basketball - Otter Valley overwhelms Mill River
December 18, 2024: Brandon, VT 05733 The Otter Valley Otters basketball team scored 66 points and limited the visiting Mill River Minutemen to 19 in the Otters non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Otters now possess a 3-0 record. They play next when they host Hartford for a Southern Vermont - B game on Friday, December 20. Otter Valley will play a Hurricanes team coming off a 73-30 non-league win over Oxbow (Bradford, VT). The Hurricanes record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Mill River falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Minutemen travel to Sharon Academy (Sharon, VT) to play the Phoenix in a Southern Vermont - D game on Friday, December 20. The Phoenix go into the game with a record of 0-1. Sharon Academy lost 77-29 in their recent league game against Blue Mountain (Wells River, VT)
