In Tuesday's non-league contest, the host Leon Lions basketball team scored a good 67-56 win over the North Florida Christian Eagles.

The Lions (14-5) will now prepare for their contest against Chiles (Tallahassee, FL). The Timberwolves come into the 5A District 2 contest with a 10-8 record. In their last contest, Chiles defeated Community Leadership Academy (Tallahassee, FL), 55-45, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Eagles battle the Lincoln Trojans (Tallahassee, FL) in a non-league contest, on Thursday, January 16. North Florida Christian will attempt to better on its 5-11 season record. The Trojans come into the contest with a 11-6 record after their 71-45 league win over Chiles (Tallahassee, FL).
