The Leon Lions (Tallahassee, FL) basketball were winner over the host North Florida Christian Eagles (Tallahassee, FL), 61-52 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Lions now possess a 6-4 record. They play next when they travel to Westover for a non-league bout on Saturday, December 14. Leon will play a Patriots team coming off a 47-41 non-league loss to Tift County (Tifton, GA). The Patriots record now stands at 3-2.

With the loss, North Florida Christian falls to 2-4 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Bay (Panama City, FL) to confront the Tornadoes in a non-league game on Friday, December 13.
