Oregon High School Basketball - Mapleton sneaks past Triangle Lake
January 14, 2025: Blachly, OR 97412 The Mapleton Sailors (Mapleton, OR) basketball edged the host Triangle Lake Lakers (Blachly, OR), 49-42 in Tuesday's league bout.
The Sailors now possess a 7-6 record. They play next when they host Crow for a bout on Thursday, January 16. Mapleton will play a Cougars team coming off a 54-38 league loss to Eddyville (Eddyville, OR). The Cougars record now stands at 2-9.
With the loss, Triangle Lake falls to 7-7 on the campaign. The Lakers travel to McKenzie (Finn Rock, OR) to play the Eagles in a 1A Mountain West bout on Thursday, January 16. The Eagles go into the bout with a record of 4-11. McKenzie lost 55-48 in their recent league bout against Siletz Valley (Siletz, OR)
