Delaware High School Basketball - McKean overwhelms Red Lion Christian Academy
January 14, 2025: Bear, DE 19701 The McKean Highlanders basketball team scored 62 points and limited the host Red Lion Christian Academy Lions to 32 in the Highlanders non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Highlanders now have a 7-1 record. They play next when they host Brandywine for a Blue Hen Flight - B game on Thursday, January 16. McKean will confront a Bulldogs team coming off a 71-52 league loss to Dickinson (Wilmington, DE). The Bulldogs record now stands at 2-7.
With the loss, Red Lion Christian Academy falls to 2-6 on the campaign. The Lions host St. Andrew's (Middletown, DE) to confront the Cardinals in a non-league game on Saturday, January 18. The Cardinals go into the game with a record of 3-4. St. Andrew's won 63-52 in their recent league game against Wilmington Friends (Wilmington, DE)
