Louisiana High School Basketball - Tara defeats Mentorship Academy
January 14, 2025: Baton Rouge, LA 70806 The Tara Trojans (Baton Rouge, LA) basketball were winner over the visiting Mentorship Academy Sharks (Baton Rouge, LA), 63-52 in Tuesday's non-league bout.
The Trojans now possess a 12-13 record. They play next when they travel to White Castle for a non-league bout on Wednesday, January 15. Tara will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 71-55 non-league loss to Parkview Baptist (Baton Rouge, LA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 10-13.
With the loss, Mentorship Academy falls to 2-11 on the campaign. The Sharks host Highland Baptist Christian (New Iberia, LA) to play the Bears in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 16. The Bears go into the bout with a record of 6-14. Highland Baptist Christian won 40-17 in their recent non-league bout against Northside Christian (Crowley, LA)
