Louisiana High School Basketball - Slaughter Community Charter triumphant over Mentorship Academy
February 8, 2025: Baton Rouge, LA 70801 The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Slaughter Community Charter Knights (Slaughter, LA) and the host Mentorship Academy Sharks (Baton Rouge, LA), observed Slaughter Community Charter's basketball team overwhelm Mentorship Academy by a score of 60-31.
The Knights (11-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Maurepas (Maurepas, LA). The Wolves come into the non-league challenge with a 14-16 record. In their last challenge, Maurepas trounced Lutheran (Metairie, LA), 77-8, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Sharks encounter the Christ Episcopal School Wildcats (Covington, LA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, February 11. Mentorship Academy will attempt to improve on its 2-17 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 5-18 record after their 71-15 non-league loss to Cohen (New Orleans, LA).
