Florida High School Basketball - St. Augustine nips Tocoi Creek

In Tuesday's non-league contest, the visiting St. Augustine Yellow Jackets basketball team scored a close 61-55 triumph over the Tocoi Creek Toros.

The Yellow Jackets (13-2) will now prepare for their contest against Ponte Vedra (Ponte Vedra, FL). The Sharks go into the 5A District 4 contest with a 11-7 record. In their last contest, Ponte Vedra was tipped by Andrew Jackson (Jacksonville, FL), 74-54, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Toros battle the Westside Wolverines (Jacksonville, FL) in a non-league contest, on Friday, January 17. Tocoi Creek will attempt to better on its 16-2 season record. The Wolverines go into the contest with a 12-8 record after their 52-43 non-league win over Orange Park (Orange Park, FL).
