January 14, 2025: North Providence, RI 02904 The Woonsocket Villa Novans basketball team scored 63 points and limited the host North Providence Cougars to 38 in the Villa Novans non-league triumph on Tuesday.
The Villa Novans now have a 5-0 record. They play next when they host Pilgrim for a non-league game on Thursday, January 16. Woonsocket will confront a Patriots team coming off a 65-27 non-league win over Toll Gate (Warwick, RI). The Patriots record now stands at 5-0.
With the loss, North Providence falls to 2-3 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Toll Gate (Warwick, RI) to confront the Titans in a game on Friday, January 17. The Titans go into the game with a record of 0-4. Toll Gate lost 65-27 in their recent non-league game against Pilgrim (Warwick, RI)
