West Virginia High School Basketball - Linsly crushes Brooke
January 15, 2022: Wheeling, WV 26003 Linsly Cadets (Wheeling, WV) supporters exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their basketball team trounce the visiting Brooke Bruins (Wellsburg, WV), 81-57 in a non-league battle.
The Cadets now possess a 6-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Morgantown for a non-league battle on Monday, January 17. Linsly will confront a Mohigans team coming off a 73-45 league win over University (Morgantown, WV). The Mohigans record now stands at 6-3.
The Bruins (6-4) will now prepare for their battle against Wheeling Park (Wheeling, WV). The Patriots come into the Two Rivers battle with a 5-5 record. In their last battle, Wheeling Park trounced East Liverpool (East Liverpool, OH), 62-54, in a non-league battle.
