North Carolina High School Basketball - Pinecrest tipped by Apex Friendship

January 15, 2024: Southern Pines, NC 28387

In Monday's non-league match, the visiting Apex Friendship Patriots basketball team scored a tight 58-55 triumph over the Pinecrest Patriots.

In their next game, the Patriots meet the Cary Imps (Cary, NC) in a 4A Southeast Wake match, on Friday, January 19. Apex Friendship will attempt to better on its 11-3 season record. The Imps enter the match with a 3-11 record after their 60-49 league loss to Holly Springs (Holly Springs, NC).

With the defeat, Pinecrest moves to 7-5 on the year. The Patriots travel to Scotland (Laurinburg, NC) to meet the Fighting Scots in a 3A/4A Sandhills match on Tuesday, January 16. The Fighting Scots enter the match with a record of 5-8. Scotland won 58-52 in their recent league match against Union Pines (Cameron, NC)
