Washington, DC High School Basketball - Maret overwhelms Ron Brown
January 15, 2024: Washington, DC 20008 Fans at Monday's non-league challenge between the Maret Frogs (Washington, DC) and the visiting Ron Brown Monarchs (Washington, DC), saw Maret's basketball squad wallop Ron Brown by a tally of 63-19.
With the victory, Maret improves its record to 13-4 on the campaign. The Frogs travel to Flint Hill (Oakton, VA) to battle the Huskies in a VISAA Division I battle on Friday, January 19. The Huskies come into the battle with a record of 9-6. Flint Hill lost 71-48 in their recent non-league battle against Sandy Creek (Tyrone, GA)
The Monarchs (4-9) will now prepare for their battle against Bard (Washington, DC). The Falcons come into the DCIAA battle with a 3-14 record. In their last battle, Bard was overwhelmed by Southern Maryland Christian Academy (White Plains, MD), 80-49, in a non-league battle.
