Minnesota High School Basketball - Becker overwhelmed by Goodhue
January 15, 2024: Becker, MN 55308 The Goodhue Wildcats basketball team scored 75 points and restricted the host Becker Bulldogs to 53 in the Wildcats non-league victory on Monday.
The Wildcats now sport a 12-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Dover-Eyota for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 16. Goodhue will battle a Eagles team coming off a 66-50 league loss to Caledonia (Caledonia, MN). The Eagles record now stands at 15-3.
The Bulldogs (8-4) will now prepare for their contest against Cambridge-Isanti (Cambridge, MN). The Bluejackets come into the AAAA Section 7 contest with a 6-9 record. In their last contest, Cambridge-Isanti triumphed over Chisago Lakes Area (Lindstrom, MN), 60-23, in a league contest.
