In Wednesday's non-league contest, the visiting Butte County Pirates basketball team scored a big 60-19 triumph over the Richfield Tigers.

The Pirates (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Oakley (Oakley, ID). The Hornets go into the non-league contest with a 7-1 record. In their last contest, Oakley smashed Raft River (Malta, ID), 49-42, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Tigers confront the Hansen Huskies (Hansen, ID) in a 1A Sawtooth contest, on Friday, January 17. Richfield will attempt to better on its 3-8 season record.
