The Freedom Eagles basketball team scored 41 points and limited the host Independence to 33 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Wednesday.

The Eagles now possess a 5-4 record. They play next when they travel to Unity Reed for a Cedar Run game on Friday, January 17.
