Virginia High School Basketball - Riverside can't hold off Freedom
December 3, 2024: Leesburg, VA 20176 Freedom Eagles (South Riding, VA) supporters left the game satisfied Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the host Riverside Ram (Leesburg, VA), 44-39 in a non-league battle.
With the victory, Freedom advances its record to 1-1 on the year. The Eagles travel to North Stafford (Stafford, VA) to meet the Wolverines in a non-league battle on Thursday, December 5. The Wolverines enter the battle with a record of 0-0.
The Ram now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Loudoun Valley for a non-league battle on Tuesday, December 10. Riverside will meet a Vikings squad coming off a 55-38 non-league win over Briar Woods (Ashburn, VA). The Vikings record now stands at 1-1.
