Virginia High School Basketball - Freedom fells George C. Marshall
December 11, 2024: Falls Church, VA 22043 The Freedom Eagles basketball team scored 39 points and limited the host George C. Marshall Statesmen to 27 in the Eagles non-league triumph on Wednesday.
The Eagles now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Patriot for a Cedar Run game on Friday, December 13. Freedom will confront a Pioneers team coming off a 41-36 non-league loss to Riverside (Leesburg, VA). The Pioneers record now stands at 2-3.
With the loss, George C. Marshall falls to 3-2 on the campaign. The Statesmen travel to James Madison (Vienna, VA) to confront the Warhawks in a non-league game on Friday, December 13. The Warhawks go into the game with a record of 3-2. James Madison won 40-32 in their recent non-league game against Meridian (Falls Church, VA)
