Michigan High School Ice Hockey - Cadillac drops to Big Rapids
January 15, 2025: Cadillac, MI 49601 Big Rapids Cardinals (Big Rapids, MI) fans exited the stadium happy Wednesday as they observed their ice hockey squad achieve victory over the host Cadillac Vikings (Cadillac, MI), 5-2 in a non-league game.
With the win, Big Rapids improves its record to 5-9 on the season. The Cardinals travel to Catholic Central (Grand Rapids, MI) to play the Cougars in a non-league contest on Friday, January 17. The Cougars go into the contest with a record of 6-8. Catholic Central won 4-1 in their recent non-league match against Forest Hills Eastern (Ada, MI)
The Vikings (6-8) will now prepare for their match against Dexter (Dexter, MI). The Dreadnaughts enter the non-league match with a 12-1 record. In their last match, Dexter held off Skyline (Ann Arbor, MI), 4-0, in a non-league match.
