The Willcox Cowboys were victorious over the visiting Bisbee Pumas basketball squad by a final score of 59-44 in Thursday's league game.

The Cowboys now possess a 11-5 record. They play next when they travel to Morenci for a 2A South game on Thursday, January 22.

With the loss, Bisbee falls to 7-5 on the campaign. The Pumas host Santa Rita (Tucson, AZ) to confront the Eagles in a 2A South game on Tuesday, January 20. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 7-5. Santa Rita won 45-41 in their recent league game against Benson (Benson, AZ)
