January 16, 2023: DeKalb, IL 60115 The DeKalb Barbs routed the visiting Woodstock North Thunder basketball team by a final score of 68-42 in Monday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Barbs face the Metea Valley Mustangs (Aurora, IL) in a DuPage Valley game, on Friday, January 20. DeKalb will attempt to move on its 15-6 season record. The Mustangs enter the game with a 15-6 record after their 45-44 non-league win over Warren Township (Gurnee, IL).
With the defeat, Woodstock North moves to 9-11 on the year. The Thunder travel to Johnsburg (Johnsburg, IL) to face the Skyhawks in a Kishwaukee River game on Wednesday, January 18.
