The Holy Spirit (Absecon, NJ) varsity basketball team lost Tuesday's home conference game against Atlantic City (NJ) by a score of 45-33.
The Atlantic City Vikings basketball team scored 45 points and held the host Holy Spirit Spartans to 33 in the Vikings league triumph on Tuesday.
The Vikings now sport a 11-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Cedar Creek for a Cape/Atlantic - National contest on Thursday, January 18. Atlantic City will meet a Pirates team coming off a 59-53 league win over Atlantic County Institute of Tech (Mays Landing, NJ). The Pirates record now stands at 2-12.
The Spartans (2-13) will now prepare for their contest against Bridgeton (Bridgeton, NJ). The Bulldogs enter the Cape/Atlantic - National contest with a 6-8 record. In their last contest, Bridgeton was defeated by Mainland Regional (Linwood, NJ), 68-37, in a league contest.
