Nebraska High School Basketball - Mead crushes East Butler
January 16, 2024: Mead, NE 68041 Mead Raiders (Mead, NE) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting East Butler Tigers (Brainard, NE), 72-30 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Mead upgrades its record to 9-2 on the season. The Raiders travel to Fort Calhoun (Fort Calhoun, NE) to play the Pioneers in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 18. The Pioneers go into the bout with a record of 10-3. Fort Calhoun lost 64-43 in their recent league bout against Concordia (Omaha, NE)
Next up, the Tigers play the Meridian Mustangs (Daykin, NE) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 18. East Butler will attempt to upgrade on its 6-6 season record. The Mustangs go into the bout with a 4-8 record after their 61-38 non-league loss to Shelby-Rising City (Shelby, NE).
