Kings Mountain Mountaineers (Kings Mountain, NC) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Forestview Jaguars (Gastonia, NC), 93-43 in a league bout.

With the win, Kings Mountain upgrades its record to 10-3 on the season. The Mountaineers travel to South Point (Belmont, NC) to play the Red Raiders in a 3A Big South bout on Friday, January 19. The Red Raiders go into the bout with a record of 7-7. South Point lost 63-57 in their recent league bout against Crest (Shelby, NC)

Next up, the Jaguars play the Huss Huskies (Gastonia, NC) in a 3A Big South bout, on Friday, January 19. Forestview will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Huskies go into the bout with a 4-9 record after their 59-50 league win over Stuart W. Cramer (Belmont, NC).
