North Carolina High School Basketball - Ashbrook routs Forestview

February 6, 2024: Gastonia, NC 28054

In Tuesday's league outing, the Ashbrook Greenwave (Gastonia, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Forestview Jaguars (Gastonia, NC), by a margin of 75-51.

The Greenwave (17-4) will now prepare for their outing against North Gaston (Dallas, NC). The Wildcats go into the 3A Big South outing with a 4-17 record. In their last outing, North Gaston was trounced by Kings Mountain (Kings Mountain, NC), 89-44, in a league outing.

The Jaguars now own a 7-14 record. They play next when they host Kings Mountain for a 3A Big South outing on Friday, February 9. Forestview will encounter a Mountaineers squad coming off a 68-59 non-league win over Shelby (Shelby, NC). The Mountaineers record now stands at 16-5.
