Laughlin Cougars (Laughlin, NV) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Indian Springs Thunderbirds (Indian Springs, NV), 57-43 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Laughlin upgrades its record to 3-10 on the season. The Cougars travel to White Pine (Ely, NV) to face the Bobcats in a 2A Southern game on Friday, January 19. The Bobcats enter the game with a record of 6-14. White Pine won 60-51 in their recent league game against Adelson (Las Vegas, NV)

With the defeat, Indian Springs moves to 1-7 on the year. The Thunderbirds travel to Tonopah (Tonopah, NV) to face the Muckers in a 1A Central game on Friday, January 19. The Muckers enter the game with a record of 2-9. Tonopah lost 37-31 in their recent league game against Round Mountain (Round Mountain, NV)
