January 16, 2024: Carlsbad, NM 88221 In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Artesia Bulldogs (Artesia, NM) basketball squad felled the host Carlsbad Cavemen (Carlsbad, NM), by a margin of 50-32.
The Bulldogs (6-6) will now prepare for their outing against Lovington (Lovington, NM). The Wildcats go into the outing with a 2-0 record. In their last outing, Lovington thwarted Portales (Portales, NM), 69-53, in a non-league outing.
The Cavemen now own a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Organ Mountain for a non-league outing on Friday, January 19. Carlsbad will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 43-36 non-league win over Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM). The Knights record now stands at 5-0.
