Illinois High School Basketball - Wheaton North tops Glenbard West
January 16, 2024: Wheaton, IL 60187 Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Wheaton North Falcons (Wheaton, IL) and the visiting Glenbard West Hilltoppers (Glen Ellyn, IL), saw Wheaton North's basketball squad knock off Glenbard West by a count of 58-43.
With the victory, Wheaton North upgrades its record to 14-8 on the campaign. The Falcons travel to St. Charles North (St. Charles, IL) to play the North Stars in a DuKane challenge on Thursday, January 18. The North Stars come into the challenge with a record of 18-2. St. Charles North won 53-37 in their recent non-league challenge against Hinsdale Central (Hinsdale, IL)
Next up, the Hilltoppers play the Downers Grove South Mustangs (Downers Grove, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, January 18. Glenbard West will attempt to upgrade on its 19-4 season record. The Mustangs come into the challenge with a 10-11 record after their 66-45 non-league win over Naperville North (Naperville, IL).
