In Thursday's league contest, the host High Point Central Bison basketball team scored a big 72-40 triumph over the Atkins Camels.

The Bison (11-3) will now prepare for their contest against Southern Guilford (Greensboro, NC). The Storm go into the 3A Mid-State contest with a 3-10 record.

In their next game, the Camels confront the Rockingham County Cougars (Wentworth, NC) in a 3A Mid-State contest, on Friday, January 17. Atkins will attempt to better on its 2-13 season record. The Cougars go into the contest with a 6-5 record after their 74-45 league loss to High Point Central (High Point, NC).
