North Carolina High School Basketball - High Point Central holds off Northeast Guilford

January 3, 2025: McLeansville, NC 27301

In Friday's league contest, the visiting High Point Central Bison basketball team scored a close 58-51 triumph over the Northeast Guilford Rams.

The Bison (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against Grimsley (Greensboro, NC). The Whirlies go into the non-league contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Grimsley nipped College Prep & Leadership Academy (Jamestown, NC), 55-46, in a non-league contest.

In their next game, the Rams confront the Dudley Panthers (Greensboro, NC) in a 3A Mid-State contest, on Tuesday, January 7. Northeast Guilford will attempt to better on its 8-2 season record. The Panthers go into the contest with a 5-5 record after their 57-53 league win over Ben L. Smith (Greensboro, NC).
