The Minto Lakers basketball team scored 45 points and limited the visiting Birchwood Christian Warriors to 37 in the Lakers non-league triumph on Thursday.

The Lakers now possess a 6-2 record. They play next when they travel to Cook Inlet Academy for a non-league game on Saturday, January 18. Minto will play a Eagles team coming off a 64-41 non-league loss to Shaktoolik (Shaktoolik, AK). The Eagles record now stands at 7-3.
