The Mount Michael Benedictine Knights (Elkhorn, NE) basketball toppled the visiting Boys Town Cowboys (Boys Town, NE), 51-39 in Thursday's non-league bout.

The Knights now possess a 6-4 record. They play next when they host Roncalli Catholic for a non-league bout on Friday, January 17. Mount Michael Benedictine will play a Crimson Pride team coming off a 51-24 non-league loss to Benton (St. Joseph, MO). The Crimson Pride record now stands at 4-7.

With the loss, Boys Town falls to 7-4 on the campaign. The Cowboys host Wayne (Wayne, NE) to play the Blue Devils in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 18. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 13-1. Wayne won 53-26 in their recent non-league bout against Laurel-Concord-Coleridge (Laurel, NE)
