The La Junta Tigers basketball squad (La Junta, CO), was crushed 59-24 in Thursday's league battle with the host Lamar Thunder (Lamar, CO)

With the victory, Lamar advances its record to 7-2 on the year. The Thunder travel to Banning Lewis Academy (Colorado Springs, CO) to meet the Stallions in a 4A/3A Tri-Peaks battle on Saturday, January 18. The Stallions enter the battle with a record of 2-6. Banning Lewis Academy lost 37-32 in their recent league battle against Manitou Springs (Manitou Springs, CO)
