In Thursday's league contest, the host River Ridge/Scales Mound Wildcats basketball team scored a big 65-22 triumph over the West Carroll Thunder.

The Wildcats (17-3) will now prepare for their contest against Clinton (Clinton, IA). The River Kings go into the non-league contest with a 3-6 record. In their last contest, Clinton was trounced by Assumption (Davenport, IA), 42-41, in a league contest.
