In Thursday's non-league contest, the host Wasilla Warriors ice hockey team scored a close 4-3 victory over the Soldotna Stars.

The Warriors (11-8) will now prepare for their contest against Colony (Palmer, AK). The Knights go into the Railbelt contest with a 6-13 record. In their last contest, Colony edged Homer (Homer, AK), 12-0, in a non-league contest.
