South Dakota High School Basketball - Leola/Frederick tops Wilmot
January 17, 2022: Wilmot, SD 57279 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Leola/Frederick Titans (Leola, SD) and the host Wilmot Wolves (Wilmot, SD), saw Leola/Frederick's basketball squad knock off Wilmot by a count of 63-55.
With the victory, Leola/Frederick upgrades its record to 3-5 on the campaign. The Titans travel to Ellendale (Ellendale, ND) to play the Cardinals in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 18. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a record of 7-0. Ellendale won 67-52 in their recent non-league challenge against Medina/Pingree-Buchanan (Medina, ND)
Next up, the Wolves play the Waverly/South Shore Coyotes (Waverly, SD) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, January 21. Wilmot will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Coyotes come into the challenge with a 1-6 record after their 58-51 non-league loss to Great Plains Lutheran (Watertown, SD).
