North Dakota High School Basketball - Beach nips New England
January 17, 2022: New England, ND 58647 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Beach Buccaneers (Beach, ND) and the host New England Tigers (New England, ND), saw Beach's basketball squad hold off New England by a tally of 61-55.
With the victory, Beach improves its record to 4-2 on the campaign. The Buccaneers host Killdeer (Killdeer, ND) to play the Cowboys in a B Region 7 challenge on Friday, January 21. The Cowboys come into the challenge with a record of 1-8. Killdeer lost 45-34 in their recent league challenge against Trinity (Dickinson, ND)
Next up, the Tigers play the Hazen Bison (Hazen, ND) in a B Region 7 challenge, on Thursday, January 20. New England will attempt to improve on its 3-7 season record. The Bison come into the challenge with a 2-9 record after their 45-38 league loss to Heart River co-op [Belfield/South Heart] (Belfield, ND).
