Illinois High School Basketball - Benet Academy crushes Waukesha West
January 17, 2022: Lisle, IL 60532 Benet Academy Redwings (Lisle, IL) backers were pleased Monday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Waukesha West Wolverines (Waukesha, WI), 56-30 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Benet Academy upgrades its record to 17-2 on the campaign. The Redwings host Carmel (Mundelein, IL) to play the Corsairs in a East Suburban Catholic bout on Wednesday, January 19. The Corsairs come into the bout with a record of 14-5. Carmel won 58-45 in their recent non-league bout against Lincoln-Way Central (New Lenox, IL)
Next up, the Wolverines play the Waukesha North Northstars (Waukesha, WI) in a Classic Eight bout, on Tuesday, January 25. Waukesha West will attempt to upgrade on its 9-5 season record.
