Georgia High School Basketball - Creekview can't hold off Allatoona
January 17, 2023: Canton, GA 30115 The Creekview Grizzlies basketball team (Canton, GA), was nudged 56-50 in Tuesday's league battle with the visiting Allatoona Buccaneers (Acworth, GA)
The Buccaneers now sport a 6-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Rome for a AAAAAA Region 6 battle on Friday, January 20. Allatoona will battle a Wolves team coming off a 49-46 league win over Woodstock (Woodstock, GA). The Wolves record now stands at 10-9.
The Grizzlies (5-14) will now prepare for their battle against River Ridge (Woodstock, GA). The Knights come into the AAAAAA Region 6 battle with a 14-6 record. In their last battle, River Ridge edged Sequoyah (Canton, GA), 64-49, in a league battle.
