Georgia High School Basketball - Rome holds off Creekview
January 10, 2023: Canton, GA 30115 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Rome Wolves (Rome, GA) and the host Creekview Grizzlies (Canton, GA), saw Rome's basketball squad hold off Creekview by a tally of 59-54.
With the victory, Rome improves its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to River Ridge (Woodstock, GA) to confront the Knights in a AAAAAA Region 6 challenge on Friday, January 13. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 12-5. River Ridge won 68-40 in their recent league challenge against Woodstock (Woodstock, GA)
Next up, the Grizzlies confront the Sequoyah Chiefs (Canton, GA) in a AAAAAA Region 6 challenge, on Friday, January 13. Creekview will attempt to improve on its 5-12 season record. The Chiefs come into the challenge with a 9-7 record after their 74-55 league loss to Etowah (Woodstock, GA).
