January 17, 2023: Kingsport, TN 37664 The Dobyns-Bennett Indians topped the visiting David Crockett Pioneers basketball team by a final score of 74-59 in Tuesday's league game.
In their next game, the Indians face the Science Hill Hilltoppers (Johnson City, TN) in a 4A District 1 game, on Friday, January 20. Dobyns-Bennett will attempt to move on its 12-8 season record. The Hilltoppers enter the game with a 3-11 record after their 48-43 non-league loss to Elizabethton (Elizabethton, TN).
With the defeat, David Crockett moves to 6-8 on the year. The Pioneers host Daniel Boone (Gray, TN) to face the Trailblazers in a 4A District 1 test on Friday, January 20.
