January 16, 2023: Dandridge, TN 37725 In Monday's non-league outing, the Dobyns-Bennett Indians (Kingsport, TN) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Jefferson County Patriots (Dandridge, TN), by a margin of 72-40.
The Indians (11-8) will now prepare for their outing against David Crockett (Jonesborough, TN). The Pioneers go into the 4A District 1 outing with a 6-6 record. In their last outing, David Crockett smashed Science Hill (Johnson City, TN), 61-57, in a non-league outing.
The Patriots now own a 3-10 record. They play next when they host Morristown-Hamblen West for a 4A District 2 outing on Friday, January 20. Jefferson County will clash with a Trojans squad coming off a 58-47 non-league win over Northview Academy (Kodak, TN). The Trojans record now stands at 9-8.
