Illinois High School Basketball - Dixon falls to Princeton
January 17, 2023: Princeton, IL 61356 In Tuesday's non-league match, the host Princeton Tigers basketball team scored a good 60-52 triumph over the Dixon Dukes & Duchesses.
In their next game, the Tigers meet the St. Bede Bruins (Peru, IL) in a Three Rivers - East match, on Friday, January 20. Princeton will attempt to move on its 20-0 season record. The Bruins enter the match with a 7-14 record after their 81-53 non-league loss to Midland (Varna, IL).
With the defeat, Dixon moves to 14-7 on the year. The Dukes & duchesses host Lutheran (Rockford, IL) to meet the Crusaders in a Big Northern match on Friday, January 20. The Crusaders enter the match with a record of 13-7. Lutheran won 67-61 in their recent non-league match against Timothy Christian (Elmhurst, IL)
