Louisiana High School Basketball - University Lab nipped by East Ascension
January 17, 2023: Gonzales, LA 70737 The East Ascension Spartans tipped the visiting University Lab Cubs basketball team by a final score of 52-48 in Tuesday's non-league game.
In their next game, the Spartans face the Salmen Spartans (Slidell, LA) in a non-league game, on Tuesday, January 24. East Ascension will attempt to move on its 11-10 season record.
With the defeat, University Lab moves to 13-9 on the year. The Cubs host Port Allen (Port Allen, LA) to face the Pelicans in a 3A District 6 game on Friday, January 20. The Pelicans enter the game with a record of 17-1.
