The Cubs now possess a 12-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Scotlandville for a non-league battle on Friday, January 6. University Lab will confront a Hornets team coming off a 73-38 non-league win over Choctawhatchee (Fort Walton Beach, FL). The Hornets record now stands at 15-2.
The Spartans (8-6) will now prepare for their battle against St. Amant (St. Amant, LA). The Gators come into the 5A District 5 battle with a 10-4 record. In their last battle, St. Amant edged Belaire (Baton Rouge, LA), 73-36, in a non-league battle.
