The Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy Eagle basketball team scored 79 points and held the host New Mexico School for the Deaf Roadrunners to 36 in the Eagle league triumph on Tuesday.
The Eagle now sport a 7-5 record. They put it on the line next when they host Chesterton Academy for a A District 7 contest on Thursday, January 19. Evangel Christian Academy/Oak Grove Classical Academy will meet a Saints team coming off a 79-10 league loss to Legacy Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Saints record now stands at 1-5.
The Roadrunners (2-6) will now prepare for their contest against Santa Fe Waldorf (Santa Fe, NM). The Wolves enter the A District 7 contest with a 4-7 record. In their last contest, Santa Fe Waldorf was routed by Maxwell (Maxwell, NM), 69-31, in a non-league contest.
